Advenir program & interoperability
This is a subsidy program for EV charging led by AVERE France. It mandates interoperability for certain categories of charging stations to ensure broad accessibility for electric vehicle users. This requirement ensures that charging stations funded by the program are accessible to multiple users, regardless of their service provider. This requirement can be met by joining a roaming platform such as Gireve. The program was extended last year until 2027 with an additional €200 million and new objectives..
Gireve is a long-time partner of the program. Since the beginning of the partnership in 2016, Gireve has created more than 15,000 certificates for interoperability, unlocking the Advenir subsidy and opening to roaming more than 60,000 charging points in France.
